ArcelorMittal announced that it will invest US$50 million in its coke plant in Monessen Pennsylvania, which has been idled since May 2009. The investment will be used for renew the pollution-control system and set up a safe and competitive productivity. Currently, the company is running the necessary permits and expected to put the coke plant into operation in May 2014.
